What work was delivered at Wollongong Hospital as part of the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project?
Two Inpatient Units (IPU’s) were refurbished for the provision of high acuity Aged Care and Rehabilitation Services at Wollongong Hospital. Addtionally, improvements were made to a staff tea room and a brand new rehabilitation gymnasium was also delivered.
The works also included the refurbishment and reclocation of the Cardiology Ward so that it is co-located with the Cardiac Diagnostic Centre.
These important works were completed in 2023 and was funded and managed as part of the more than $700 million New Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Health Services project.
